Appliance Question

If the bottom of my dishwasher is full of water and I can't get it to drain, does that mean I need a new dishwasher?

Can you believe that I haven't had a dishwasher since I lived with Mom & Dad, 8 years ago. Oh wait, I had one for 6 weeks on my mission, but I never used it once.

That happened to us when we first moved into our house. I called an appliance repair man. There was something wrong with the pump in the dishwasher. I think it was about $75 to repair it, which was cheaper than getting a new one. Hope that helps!

we had the same problem. try cleaning it yourself and if that doesn't work, call a repair man. it is almost always less money than a new dishwasher. also, i always use lemishine when i run my dishwasher...the repair guy recommended it and my dishes come out cleaner and it makes your dishwasher work more effectively.
