Motivation

Victor and I had a strange conversation about homework yesterday.

He told me that Katie and Lin (not their real names) did not do their homework, but that it was important to do homework to help Joyce (not the real name of his school). And if they did homework, they earned money.

He also told me that he can read on his own. Which he knows because his teacher patted him on the head yesterday, and not because he observes himself reading.

Re: Crock Pot book. YES! I have two amazing references that I use over and over and over... and over.
#1 That stupid little pamphlet one that came with the RIVAL crockpot. Laminate that sucker! I especially love the corned beef & cabbage & the Norweigan meatballs.
#2 Fix it and Forget it Cookbook. I have some pages that automatically open because we've used it so much that the pages are stained and just fall open.

Here n' there. I've gotten some recipes here and there, like Denises Black beans and chicken swiss casserole. DELISH. And its so nice to huck stuff in there, walk away, and then come up to the smell of delicousness wafting through the air. Easiest and best receipe: Pork ribs. Stuff the whole side in there. Slather in a whole thing of bbq sauce. Cook on low allllll day. Then feast. Num. Mie. Ness!
Are you on fb? I'm afraid I'm doing this communicating thing the hard way...
