This morning I went to the doctor to have some blood drawn and tested. Nothing new there, except it was for blood clots instead of cancer.
Unfortunately, the results were not good enough, and I'll have to keep giving myself shots. The bag of pre-filled syringes I picked up at the drugstore was enormous. My mouth dropped open when I saw it. According to the receipt, my insurance saved me $4068.00 on my prescription. Pretty neat.

Are you on Lovenox? That's the blood thinner that I am on, and based on the price you mentioned, they definitely could be one in the same...thank goodness for insurance!

"Yeah" for good insurance and "what the jimmy!?!" for huge bags of prefilled syringes. I am sorry.
Cyndie--this is true insanity. A big hooray for no cancer. But blood clots? Where the heck did those come from? I am SO sorry. And as always, I love your positive spin on things like having health insurance that paid for so much. You really are one tough cookie.
